Congratulations on expanding your business with Wakefern! TrueCommerce is pleased to support the setup between your organization and Wakefern. Before we schedule testing, a few preliminary steps must be completed to ensure a smooth implementation.
Preliminary Steps
Wakefern requires vendor’s DUNS number to be accurate in their system for testing. They will validate EDI Invoices (810) against it. Please confirm your DUNS number with them.
Wakefern supports EDI X12 and UCS formats. Please confirm with them which format they will be testing for your company.
Direct Trading Partner Testing
Wakefern requires compliance testing before Go-Live. Please refer to the documentation below for detailed instructions and expectations. TrueCommerce can also handle the testing for you if you prefer.
Most commonly used transactions by Wakefern include the following:
850 (or 875 for Grocery Purchase Order)
810 (or 880 for Grocery Products Invoice)
