The Integration Service (IS) is an independent Windows Service designed to pass data between Transaction Manager and any of its locally Integrated platforms, such as your Business System, Flat Files, and Label Printing
The Integration Service is installed locally onto one of your machines creating the bridge to pass the data allowing Transaction Manager a means of communication for your business process.
Cloud Solutions
If you're utilizing a Cloud Based Business System such as Microsoft Business Central 365, NetSuite, or Sage X3 then you won't need to install the Integration Service locally as Transaction Manager can communicate with those solutions through online means due to their hosted nature
What is the Integration Service used for?
Data & File Transfer
The Integration Service's primary purpose is to allow data to be transferred with the Transaction Manager platform and your Business System or a text-based file typically referred to as a Flat File.
It does this by being the endpoint to which Transaction Manager can pass the EDI transactions received or being sent with your Trading Partner and translates it into the appropriate data format that your systems can understand.
Scheduler
The Integration Service also acts as an Events Scheduler - allowing the system to properly manage timed events helping to automate your process by firing off Imports and Exports based on a schedule.
Labeling Utility (On-Premise)
the Integration Service is utilized to pass data for use with the TrueCommerce Labeling Utility for On-Premise solutions as well. Passing the necessary information for printing labels from your machine.
