Linking QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop to Transaction Manager is accomplished by adding your Customer/Job number to the Transaction Manager Partner List.

This can be performed two ways: by syncing directly with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop or manually.

Option A - Partner Sync

You can sync your QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop customers with your Partner List by utilizing the Sync option within the Partner List in Transaction Manager. This will automatically reach out to QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop and provide you with a list of all codes.

To do this, select Trading Partners > [Partner] > Translations > Partner List in Transaction Manager, then click Sync on the action bar.

Option B - Manual

If you would like to add your Trading Partner manually without the Sync option, you can do so by selecting Trading Partners > [Partner] > Transactions > Partner List fin Transaction Manager and entering your Customer/Job from QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop on the Transaction Manager Partner Setup page.

Customer Jobs

If you are adding a Job, be aware that the format used within Transaction Manager requires that you list the Parent Customer as well as the Job separated by a colon; i.e., Customer:Job.

You can see this format from within a Transaction for your Job inside QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop while the Customer List will simply show them as nested.
