Product: Dynamics GP (Standard/Advance)

Error: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Login failed for user 'xxxxx'.


Issue: Whenever trying to export/import from Transaction you receive an error stating System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Login failed for user 'xxxxx'.

Reason: Your SQL Server credentials stored within Transaction Manager are no longer valid - either a password update, or permission sets have been modified that no longer allow the inputted user to gain access to the needed SQL Databases

The Fix


You'll need to contact your System Administrator or SQL Server Administrator to correct the user within your SQL Server or update Transaction Manager's credentials

Navigate: Business System β†’ (Company) β†’ Company Configuration β†’ Integration Options

Update: SQL Server settings for username and password

Note: TrueCommerce does not maintain your SQL users or permissions - please work with your IT department to properly configure a user
