Importing Inbound Files
Once the XML file is sitting within the FTP/Directory you'll need to instruction Dynamics NAV to import it so that it can be processed - in order to import the file manually you can navigate to the TrueCommerce department and select the Import Inbound Files task.
Navigate: Departments → TrueCommerce → EDI → Import & Export
Select: Import Inbound Files
Select: Yes
Import Inbound Files
This will prompt you if you want to import any new files - select Yes to continue. Once complete a Log window will pop up informing you whether or not the operation was succesful.
Note: While Import Inbound Files will process the XML file and bring it into the TrueCommerce EDI system within Dynamics NAV - it has not yet been processed - and thus has not created your Sales Order within Dynamics NAV yet.
Process Inbound Messages
The Inbound Messages window is a temporary space in which any incoming EDI Document is stored - acting as a simple buffer where you can view and edit your EDI data right inside the Inbound Messages screen before processing it into a Sales Order within your Dynamics NAVs system.
Process All
To process all unprocessed Inbound Messages into their respective Dynamics NAV document you can simply select the Process Inbound Messages option under the Tasks group.
Navigate: Departments → TrueCommerce → EDI → Import & Export
Select: Process Inbound Messages
Select: Yes
Process Inbound Messages
Process Individually
If you prefer to process your EDI transactions individually or select a specific one to process/reprocess you can do so by select the Inbound Messages option under the Documents group which will allow you to see your entire history of Inbound Message as well as process/reprocess individual transactions.
Navigate: Departments → TrueCommerce → EDI → Import & Export
Select: Inbound Messages
Select: Desired Document → Reprocess Document

Note: If you wish to see the newest Documents - simply select the No. column to sort by No in a Descending order.
